For proof of income, one of the following should suffice:
- Most recent bank statements (2-3 months)
- Recent 2-3 payslips
- Dated letter from employer designating salary and position

Bank Statements
Acceptable
✅ Name is visible on the statement
✅ An overview of their account is clear and is easy to read
✅ Statement is recent (1-2 months ago)
✅ Statement shows consistent stream of deposits/revenue from employer
Not Acceptable
❌ Screenshots
❌ If there is no name visible on the statement
❌ Statement cannot be older than 3 months
❌ Statement has low opening/closing balance (less than 2 months of rent)
Acceptable
✅ Name is visible on the statement
✅ An overview of their account is clear and is easy to read
✅ Statement is recent (1-2 months ago)
✅ Statement shows consistent stream of deposits/revenue from employer
Not Acceptable
❌ Screenshots
❌ If there is no name visible on the statement
❌ Statement cannot be older than 3 months
❌ Statement has low opening/closing balance (less than 2 months of rent)
Employment Letters
Acceptable
✅ Must be an offical document issued from their employer
✅ Income is stated and corresponds to at least 3x the monthly rent
✅ Position/title
✅ Employment date or duration of employment
✅ Contact information is indicated, and the title of the person who issued the letter (in case we need to make any reference calls)
Not Acceptable
❌ No income stated
❌ Handwritten letters
❌ Employment duration does not last throughout the entirety of the lease term
Pay Slips
Acceptable
✅ Must be an offical document issued from their employer
✅ Statement must be recent from 1-3 months ago
✅ Must indicate term (bi-weekly, monthly) or hours worked
Not Acceptable
❌ Issued from more than 3 months ago
❌ Does not show pay term (weeks/month/year)
❌ Does not show employer and employee names
